A science fiction future

Simon Stalenhag is an illustrator that loves painting  images of how our future integrates with science and technology. He’s always had a fascination for real life and how it would evolve as the world moves towards a more connected and technologically advanced direction.  I especially love how his old abandoned science labs seem so ‘in-place’ in his scandinavian style paintings.  The muted tones and pale light give his work that atmospheric surreal feel that seems like reality and dream all at once.
